Course Description
A parallel Spanish 1 and Spanish 1S course designed for English-dominant Chicano students whose home languages include Spanish. This course will serve any student who has an auditory comprehension and a basic oral command of Spanish. Course conducted primarily in Spanish with emphasis on grammar, reading, and writing. Not open to students who have completed SPA 1 or SPA 1S with a grade of "C" or better.
