Course Description
A study of the Earth's dynamic physical systems and processes. Topics include: Earth-sun geometry, weather, climate, water, landforms, soil, and the biosphere. Tools of geography (maps, remote sensing, and Geographic Information Systems) are introduced and applied. Additional emphasis is placed on the relationship between environmental and human processes and systems.
