Course Description

An introductory survey in biological or physical anthropology. The course provides an overview of the basic data, methodology and theories of the principal subdivision of the field--population genetics, primatology, paleoanthropology, and human variability and adaption--to understand the process of human evolution. It is designed to fit the needs and interests of both beginning anthropology majors and general education students.
